Help to ban illegal tropical wood from our instruments. The forests of the world are declining at a breathtaking speed. Our guitars and basses do their part. But we can easily do without tropical wood. Together, we musicians can make the manufacturers and dealers stop using tropical wood. Music saving nature.

There’s blood on your guitar. If it contains tropical wood, it probably contributed to the illegal logging of tropical forests. No instrument needs tropical wood to sound good or be playable. Better refrain from using rosewood, rosewood or bubinga in your guitar and instead watch out for native wood from sustainable forestry. Ask your dealer or manufacturer about the origin of the wood.

Your guitar was once a tree. Does it have tropical wood in it? The international police authority Interpol estimates that 50-90% of all tropical wood on the world market is illegal. Due to corruption and the lack of environmental laws, there is an exploitation of forests that is responsible for violence, extinction of species and massive damage to the climate. Parts of the music industry are benefiting from this. Let’s stop them!
